This Privacy Policy explains how Berkeley Labs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Kiron mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address and password when you create an account
• Profile information: Age, sex, height, weight, and unit preferences you provide during onboarding
• Workout data: Programs, workout logs, sets, reps, and weights you enter into the App
• Usage data: App interactions and crash reports collected via PostHog and Sentry to improve the App
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version

2. Health Data

If you enable Health sync, Kiron writes completed workout data to Apple Health or Google Health Connect. We do not read health data from these services. Health data is processed on your device and is not stored on our servers beyond your workout logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the App
• Personalize your experience
• Process subscription payments via RevenueCat
• Identify and fix bugs and crashes
• Improve App features and performance
• Respond to your support requests

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and database storage
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
• PostHog: Anonymous usage analytics
• Sentry: Crash reporting and error monitoring

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the App, and only under agreements that require them to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App, which will permanently delete all your data from our systems.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Kiron is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
